Broad Bean Hummus and Broad Bean Dip


This year we planted more broad beans than ever, so have been enjoying something of a glut! Some we blanched and bagged up for the freezer, and the rest we have been finding new uses for as we seem to be eating them almost every day! I substituted broad beans for chickpeas in my hummus recipe (see blog archive/ use the search engine) and came up with this yummy dip/ spread.
For the dip, which tastes really creamy, just cook and blend fresh broad beans and add a little salt, black pepper and soy tamari/Liquid Aminos. 
Simple!
